Once upon a time Guruji was a Google rival in India. It was launched as a searchengine and very promising but soon it started narrowing its original job and it become popular as a music search engine. In simple was a time it was one stop music search engine for in India. Because users were able to search music anddownload them too because of download links. There was a disclaimers on every page Guruji is not responsible for external link content. But now its is clear people were coming to Guruji for music not web search. It is an old news there was raid on Guruji office and staff members were arrested for supporting music piracy. Now there seems settlements because Music search section has been removed.
Guruji was a very popular website but now its ranking is going down rapidly, can’t say where will it stop.
